Right down the street from our old place! A classic Chicago neighborhood bar. Sometimes a guy comes in to sell tamales at midnight.
It's free!
Sophisticated speakeasy with high-backed chairs and heavy velvet drapes. No cell phone use allowed.
It's like a cross between Chicago deep dish and Detroit style pan pizza. 10/10
Live blues/jazz music EVERY DAY until 4am. Two bars and dance floors. Barbeque and mozz sticks in the back. Can't recommend enough!
Our around-the-corner Greek restaurant. Get the lamb!
Great place to walk around and explore! See murals, try food at Time Out Market, go mini golfing or have ice cream at Jeni's.
It's ramen; it's delicious.
A great elevated trail to walk/run/bike! Plenty of places to get on and off near parks and train stations.
for you, Dad
Catherine's favorite neighborhood thrift store :)
Nothing more classic than the Riverwalk for sightseeing.
Chicago is known for comedy. This is just one of the great spots to catch a show!
Fun even if you're not super into architecture. It's a great way to see the city, but it does get a bit chilly on the boat.
