Seven years ago we met in a high school classroom. Towards the end of the school year Jeff asked for my number and we went on our first date at a corn maze. The hour drive out of town was anything but awkward, the Jeep was loud enough that there was never a "quiet" moment and the country music was always turned up. Everything about that night was perfect and we became inseparable. We spent nearly every day together after that date and the story has been the same since!

Jeff planned what I thought to be a spontaneous trip to the Caribbean. On our first night of vacation, we were looking at the sunset over the ocean. I felt a bump to the back of my leg and assumed it was Jeff sitting down. I quickly turned around to ask him why he was sitting when the greatest sunset of all time was in front of us (dramatic I know). But I quickly found out that he wasn't sitting but was down on one knee. I was in complete shock! I said YES immediately and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Jax!
