Things To Do

Here's a list of our favorite neighborhood places for eating, drinking and exploring before the wedding.

Mile End Delicatessen

97 Hoyt Street, Boerum Hill, NY 11217

Jewish delicatessen with a modern twist. Great for dining in or taking out. Don't miss the turkey reuben.

Brooklyn Inn

148 Hoyt Street, Boerum Hill, NY 11217

Our favorite neighborhood watering hole and also one of the oldest bars in Brooklyn! No frills in the best way possible.

Rucola

190 Dean Street, Boerum Hill, NY 11217

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant and a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Don't miss their seasonal pasta specials.

Anaïs

196 Bergen Street, Boerum Hill, NY 11217

Cozy and welcoming wine bar with light bites and books to browse or buy.

Books Are Magic

225 Smith Street, Carroll Gardens, NY 11231

Neighborhood boutique bookstore. We went here on our second date and spend many weekends browsing the stacks!

Atlantic Avenue

Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

The stretch of Atlantic Avenue between Bond and Hoyt Streets is full of boutiques, antique shops and galleries - our favorites include Horseman Antiques (4+ floors filled to the brim with antique furniture and treasures!), Porta (beautiful homewares), Michelle Varian (homewares, jewelry and more), Collier West (three side by side stores filled with art, gifts and trinkets) and Humble House (antiques - much of our apartment has been furnished from this store!).

Grand Army

336 State Street, Boerum Hill, NY 11217

Our favorite date night spot for oysters and martinis

For all the days along the way
