We reserved several rooms in a block, most of which are large enough to sleep groups of adults or families. You can walk to the beach, Bay Head town, and the chapel/reception from this hotel. Bay Head is just a few small towns from Spring Lake where the welcome drinks are held and ubers/taxis are readily available.

The welcome drinks on Friday are right in Spring Lake, just a quick drive from the hotel. Cost Range: $110-$120 a night Time to events: 5 minute drive to welcome party | 15 minute drive to the ceremony | 9 minute drive from the after party This hotel is conveniently located on the main road between Spring Lake and Bay Head, so it is a quick trip to the welcome drinks and the chapel/reception. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and Sea Girt town is a 5-minute drive away.

Newark Airport
There are several airports in the NYC metro area, the easiest to get to/from the shore is Newark Airport. It is about an hour's drive or a two-hour train ride.

NJ Transit - North Jersey Coast Rail Line
The NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Rail Line starts at Penn Station NYC and makes stops at Newark Airport, Spring Lake, Sea Girt, and Bay Head. The train from NYC to Bay Head takes about two hours. Some trains make a stop in Long Branch and you have to switch trains, but it is very simple and almost impossible to mess up. The train is a great option to get down to the wedding from NYC/Newark airport. It is Hunter and Catherine's most common form of transportation down the shore!
