Paris CDG is the closest international airport. There are also a limited numbers of flights from NYC to Paris Orly airport (South of Paris) with that is closer to the wedding venue. Flights are operated by a low-cost airline called Frenchbee (www.frenchbee.com).

How to get to Chateau Laborde Saint Martin (wedding venue) from Paris CDG Airport?

Answer

Chateau Laborde Saint Martin (https://www.labordesaintmartin.com/) is 222km/137 miles away from CDG Airport. You can rent a car from CDG. It is a 2h30 ride (mostly motorway). If you decide to stay a couple of days in Paris upon arrival, you can take an highspeed train (TGV) from Paris Gare Montparnasse to Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (main nearby city is Tours) and then rent a car. SNCF is the name of the national railway company in France and tickets can be purchased online at www.sncf-connect.com

Can I stay at Château Laborde Saint-Martin? What are the accommodations like? What is the cost to stay at the Château?

Answer

Yes!! The Château Laborde Saint-Martin can accommodate all of our guests. However, the Château is a residence, and being thus, the accommodations are like a home with some shared spaces. There is a large kitchen, living room area, and full access to the Château grounds. This also means that bed sizes may vary, there may be a shared toilet/ shower area, etc. The cost is $65. per person/ per night. Breakfast is included. If you would like to stay at the Château, or if you have any accommodation questions, please contact Catherine or Grégory. Catherine will be assigning rooms.

What if I want a more traditional hotel experience?

Answer

Our favorite local hotel, Auberge de la Cailllere is a mile away. There are two incredible restaurants on site. If there is a lack of availability, we have booked a limited number of rooms under Gregory's last name. How do I get to the wedding events if I stay in Blois?

Answer

We will organize a shuttle between Blois and the Château Laborde Saint-Martin for the wedding events. Please contact Catherine or Grégory if you need this service.
