What will the weather be like in October?

Answer

Rhode Island in October is typically pretty mild (standard temperatures are in the mid 60's). Both the ceremony and reception are indoors, but you will potentially need a light jacket or sweater during cocktail hour which will be on the patio.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend formal attire (full or midi length dresses for the ladies and suits for the guys) but really we're just excited to spend time with you, so wear whatever makes you feel your best!

Are the ceremony and reception being held in the same place?

Answer

No, the church where our ceremony is being held is around the corner from where the reception will be. It is technically walk-able, but we will have shuttles to take guests over to the reception once the ceremony is over.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we plan to have a shuttle to and from the hotels we have room blocks at.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, if you are choosing to drive to the ceremony and/or reception, you should not have an issue finding free street parking. The same goes for the Welcome Reception the night before.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Please reach out to one of us directly and we will handle it with our caterer.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we would love to have everyone's littles, due to space, we are only inviting immediate family members' kids to the reception.

Can you help find childcare during the reception?

Answer

Yes! Claire (Catherine's sister) has lined up a few babysitters who attend the University of Rhode Island nearby and are willing and able to help out that night. Reach out to us directly and we'll connect you with them!
