Our Story

2014 - Met in Hong Kong; Traveled to Taiwan, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, mainland China.... 2015 - Graduated University of South Carolina; Got our first jobs; Traveled back to mainland China; Cat starting to realize it's going to be rough being a Cowboys fan 2016 - Many South Carolina football games; Quarterly music festivals (if you know, you know); Cowboys Game in Dallas (still lost); Both living in Charlotte; Forced some people to be friends... 2017 - Traveled to Costa Rica; Surfed for the first time; Outdoor climbing trips; Beach weekends with friends; Lollapalooza in Chicago; DC in December 2018 - Rang in the New Year in Dallas (making a wish the Cowboys would do better); Mountain Weekends with friends; Spring Awakening in Chicago; Traveled to Iceland for the best ice cream and Puffins; Met Above & Beyond in person 2019 - Moved to Chicago; Forced more people to be friends; Traveled to Peru with a backpack to stay at the luxury Marriott hotels; Traveled to Panama because the layover was really long to get to Peru; Traveled to San Francisco for our anniversary; Saw the Cowboys play the Bears at Soldier Field (Bears won... shocker....) 2020 - Saw Galantis before the world shut down; Played several board games so our collection is (almost) complete; Rented a remote cabin out in the UP; Forrest learned he could only grow his hair outward like a chia pet and only four more hairs on his chin; Cat learned what Wall Drugz is; Climbed in South Dakota, Colorado, West Virginia, Kentucky; Celebrated our first Christmas together 2021 - Temporarily moved to Asheville; Forrest proved to the world he's actually Superman; Traveled to Brazil; Got engaged <3 2022 - Traveled to Arizona and hiked the Grand Canyon; Traveled to Vancouver and met with our families; Went on our pre-marriage honeymoon to Dubai and the Maldives; Cat joined the Dirty 30 Club 2023 - Snowboarded the fresh pow in Utah and Colorado; Forrest caught up and joined the 30 Club; Forrest & Friends saw Paavo in Chicago; Cat temporarily moved to Greenville <3; Many more memories to come...
