As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will only be open to kids age 10 and older. (Immediate family exempt.)
Since our wedding is at a higher altitude, we want you to feel your best while you're here! A few quick tips: 🍷 Alcohol Hits Harder: Altitude can amplify alcohol's effects — pace yourself. 💧 Hydrate: Drink more water than usual to avoid dehydration. Limit alcohol or caffeine, especially early on. 🌞 Stronger Sun: The sun is intense here! Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. 😴 Adjust Slowly: Give yourself time to acclimate and avoid strenuous activity on day one. 🌄 Less Oxygen: You may feel short of breath or light-headed — totally normal! Take it easy at first.
Our ceremony will be outside on grass (weather permitting). You may want to wear wedge or block heel shoes as well as bring a shawl or coat. The reception will be indoors at the same venue so feel free to shed your second layer then! Our wedding is semi-formal. A nice shirt and slacks possibly with a blazer is fine. Women can wear short dresses, longer dresses or dressy jumpsuits. If you want to dress it up and go all out, that's fine too! The Wedding party will be in gray and royal purple. Just a heads up in case you don't want to dress like them. ;)
We recommend reserving a rental car and coordinating with other friends or family who will be visiting. Colorado doesn't have good public transportation but there are Ubers/Lyfts around. We will not be providing transportation to the wedding venue (though it will be quite close to the wedding block hotel).
Our catering will have vegetarian options (preference can be noted on the invitation RSVP). If you are vegan or have severe food allergies, please get in contact with Catherine in advance to consult with the catering company. We will try our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee it.
