Blessing of the Hounds, and the Hunt

9:15 am - 12:00 pm

Parking at White Oak fixture. Arrive By 9:15!! Wagons will not wait. Directions: Drive to this address: 2940 John Watson Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. From here continue north about half a mile you will cross a concreate bridge and there will be a gate on your right. Parking in the field. Green Creek Hounds Opening Day portion! Although not a true part of the wedding ceremony, we wanted to be able to show our friends and family from outside the area our hunt club and give them a glimpse into this sport which we put so much time and energy into. Hounds will be blessed by a religions patron and, as a special addition, there will also be a blessing preformed over the impending union of DJ and myself. Then the hunt begins! Riders on horses will follow hounds. Tally ho wagons will be taken to convenient locations to view the action. We have booked seating on the Tally-ho wagons for all of our out of town guests! It is our way of saying thank you for traveling in to attend our wedding!

Parking at Cat Jumped Over the Moon Farm. For guests not leaving on an early flight, we would like to provide you a breakfast before you depart. Bacon, Eggs, biscuts, breakfast potatoes, orange juice, milk, tea, and coffee will be provided.
