There are plenty of fantastic wineries in the area. Solvang, Buellton, Ballard, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, and Santa Ynez all have many wineries that you can hit within the same day. Here is Solvang’s official list, but we recommend Clean Slate Wine Bar, Roblar, and Petros.
Solvang is home to many Danish bakeries with some of the best pastries you’ll ever have. Additionally, there are a few nearby restaurants on the Michelin Guide: peasants FEAST (Solvang), Bar Le Côte (Los Olivos), The Tavern (Los Olivos), and Bell’s (Los Alamos).
There are two courses nearby. The Alisal River Course is closest, while La Purisima is about a 20 minute drive away. La Purisima was recently the site of the PGA Tour qualifying finals.
