David and I met through an online dating app, and during that time we were both ready to take a break from the apps soon. Luckily, David made the first move and complimented my 3D models by referencing the work of Zaha Hadid (who just so happened to be someone I admired). Our first date was at Ristorante Paradiso in Kirkland that we still try to go to once or twice a year, and I remember that date involving a lot of laughter and conversations about all things art. It wasn't until I met David that I realized how special dating someone who is in a similar creative space can bear witness to a part of me that others may not as easily understand. We're excited to continue making more memories together, growing together, and coming up with fun date ideas like when we did a $20 Michael's crafting challenge!
Catherine arrived not long in my life after I made an emphatic request to God to shake things up for me. A few months later, Catherine arrived on the scene! Our first date was full of laughter, empathy, and connecting over our careers in art. The rest is history! A history of walking together in faith, growing together in leaps and bounds, and relishing the love we share. One special memory I have early on in our relationship was that, at a certain point days after sharing those famous 3 words, I told Catherine that when I would say "I miss you" the meaning became (in my heart) "I love you," hehe.
