This is the ice cream shop we went to for our first date. It was a bit difficult to recognize each other with masks on! They have an array of traditional and funky seasonal flavors.
Because we wanted to stay outdoors on our first date (thanks pandemic) we spent the entire date walking from Jersey City's waterfront to Pier A Park in Hoboken. It's gorgeous in any season at any time of the day. Definitely check it out!
We went here on our second date. A summer thunderstorm rolled in and the place emptied out. We drank our beers under the awning of the patio and watched the storm come through. This brewery has creative brews, even some that are gluten-free.
With incredible views and miles of walking trails, you'll never have a bad time in Liberty State Park. One time Cory asked Cat to meet him here after work. They both showed up at the park with secret beers to enjoy with each other.
We love to come here for a swanky cocktail and delicious small bites.
This gift, jewelry, and gem shop always has a great find. We worked with the owner, Kerry, to design a one-of-a-kind engagement ring and both of our wedding rings.
Getting into Manhattan is quick and simple. You can hop on the PATH train at Newport Station (4 min walk from the hotel) or Grove Street Station (located in the heart of Downtown JC) to either World Trade Center or 33rd Street.
