Situated right along the River Walk, it offers easy access to downtown restaurants, shopping and attractions while providing a modern, luxury stay. Complimentary wedding transportation will pick up and drop off guests at the Thompson for both the ceremony and reception. Located in the heart of the Pearl District, Hotel Emma is our top recommendation for guests looking for a luxury stay. While we do not have a room block at this hotel, it's surrounded by some of San Antonio's best restaurants and shopping, making it a wonderful place to spend the weekend. Hotel Emma is approximately a 10-min drive from both our ceremony and reception venues.
Flight
For those traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into the San Antonio International Airport (SAT). It is approximately 15-20 minutes from our hotel recommendations.
Flight
For guests who may find it more convenient based on flight availability, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport can also serve as a great option. Austin is approximately 80 miles or a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to San Antonio.
