Mutual friends sure do come in handy. Cassandra, a bridesmaid, had a then-fiance (now husband) who was friends with Charles. Catherine and Charles were both single at the same time, and Cassandra saw the potential. The two were meant to meet casually, but other plans got in the way. Then, while at the same local bar with different groups of friends, another mutual friend Sam, a groomsman, nudged Charles. "There's Cat," he said. Sam made the initial introductions, and later that night Charles texted Cassandra, saying, "She is stunning. We agreed to hang tomorrow. Perfect human being." And the rest is history!
