Where is the wedding?

All of our wedding day events will all occur at Battello located at 502 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ. The restaurant is located at the end of the pier across from the Newport Mall.

Dress Code?

Answer

Our Wedding is Black-Tie Preferred: Floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, and tuxes with black neckties or bowties are preferred, but not required.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we thought you deserve a night off! Adults only please. We ask that you please attend based on the names provided on your invitation.

Weather during this time of year?

Answer

Don't worry, we did the research! According to the Farmer's Almanac, on average for the past ten years, there has been a high of 46 degrees and a low of 33 degrees on March 1st, and more often than not, it was partially cloudy. That said, we're hoping the weather is like 2017 when there was a high of 68, but it could very well be like 2019, when the high was only 35. Last year it was clear skies and sunny, but in 2015 there was a mix of rain and snow... All to say, like any early spring day in the Northeast, the weather is going to be hit or miss. The good news? Our entire wedding day will be held indoors, and should you need to be outside, there will be space heaters and overhangs that will keep you warm and dry!

Will there be shuttle service?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle service to our venue. All of the hotels where we have confirmed room blocks have parking on premises for guests, and are within a 5-7 minute walking distance of Battello. If walking is not preferred, or you are staying elsewhere, we recommend using Uber or Lyft for transportation. There are also a limited number of parking spots available at Battello if you are driving yourselves personally. Please note, these parking spaces are first come, first serve.
