One of our favorite beaches. Perfect for a morning walk around the tidal pools or joining the crowds to watch the sunset. Get there early to get a parking spot, or walk over from the hotels if you don't mind getting some steps in.
This beach has warm, quiet water (and is the only beach in the area with a snack shack). Be prepared to walk over or pay for parking.
Chapin Beach offers a more natural, secluded feel--and the ride over offers a stunning path through the dunes.
If you want to rent a kayak or paddle board, Cape Cod Waterways and Bass River Kayaks are awesome places to check out. Most people who rent from them are first-timers, so don’t be shy if you’ve never been!
Downtown Chatham is peak classic Cape Cod charm, known for its super walkable Main Street packed with cute boutiques and gorgeous homes. Just wander around, grab a drink at Chatham Bars Inn, check out the iconic lighthouse, or maybe spot some seals near the Chatham Pier Fish Market.
For those looking to get outdoors, perfect for renting a bike and hitting the trails with awesome views.
P-Town is the most welcoming place on the Cape, known for its oceanside bars and entertainment. We recommend strolling up and down Commercial Street and taking in the sights.
Liveliest bar you'll get on the bayside, with live music at night and an outdoor patio.
A wine and cocktail bar right in the center of town--ideal for a few drinks and apps.
Andrew's death row meal: their buffalo chicken wrap.
Beloved in the Rutley family for a casual bite. Highly recommended: lobster roll, the salmon platter, and fish and chips.
Best lobster rolls on the Cape.
A "nicer" sit-down restaurant by Dennis standards, with an outdoor patio. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
An upscale restaurant on the ocean side of Dennis, with gorgeous views over Nantucket Sound and great food/cocktails. We suggest making a reservation well in advance.
