Catherine met Olivia in college. They were both in the same major and now are both Registered Dietitians. As roommates for two years and going through the VT Master's programs together they became each other's emotional support system. Olivia always kept Catherine on track with assignments and Catherine would check over any math/chemistry. They always joked about being two halves of one genius brain but needed each other to make it through graduate school. Surviving these difficult years in school together formed a bond so strong even 2500+ miles couldn't break their friendship. Catherine thinks about Olivia on runs frequently, and it always brings her a smile and some tears to her eyes to think about her best friend living out her dream in San Diego.

Matt Loyd

Best Man

Patrick has known Matt since middle school. From getting through Spanish class any way possible to hanging out next to the lockers between class, Matt has always been a person you can trust to have a good time with. Patrick has countless memories with this guy through high school and college. You could always count on him to have a good laugh at the volleyball courts for our nightly summer games or to just relax and unwind with a good hot tub session. He has been there through thick and thin. You can always count on this guy to be there when you need him.

Dylan Keightley

Bridesman

Catherine met Dylan in the VT Triathlon Club. Here Dylan tortured Catherine with 6:30 am swims M-F where he made her a better triathlete. Many hours were spent at D-2 dining hall where they refueled and shared laughs with friends. They partook in crazy adventures together, including cheering on friends at Hellgate 100k each year, where they stayed up all night in the freezing cold, drank liters of soda to stay awake, and wore wacky costumes together. Dylan is always there for a friend in need and can always make Catherine laugh no matter what the circumstance.

Alexandra Muffly

Alexandra has known Patrick longer than any of his other friends. Patrick and Alexandra have been friends since the second grade. She has been there for many fun recesses playing battle tag and soccer, more than a handful of the end of year field days, and more than a dozen capture the flag games. She has been a steady friend who has been through all of life's changes from elementary school up until now.

Hannah Bright

Bridesmaid

Catherine met Hannah in college. Hannah was a member of the VT Ultra-running team; the ultra-running and triathlon teams were very close and went to a lot of the same workouts (even though the triathletes always schooled the ultrarunners). Catherine made a deal with Hannah that if Hannah did a Triathlon then Catherine would do an ultramarathon. After two years Catherine finally kept up her end of the deal. Hannah has pushed Catherine to be a better athlete and both ladies have a very supportive relationship of one another's athletic endeavors. Hannah is such a passionate friend who is always there to help at the drop of a hat and will stick up for anyone she loves no matter what the cost.

Rowen Perry

Rowen is a person that can always give some good perspective on life. Patrick has known Rowen since middle school but really became best friends in high school. He has competed on mainly the same races from cross country and track, to being clutch in tough plays on the sand volleyball courts. Rowen is a person who is so pure in heart. He truly cares about all living things and has such an amazing outlook on life. There have been many great starlit conversations about life and the mechanisms of society.
