No one wants to reschedule their wedding but due to COVID19 and our new orders from the governor, we have rescheduled our big day. When we sent out our invitations, things were looking up but it quickly changed. We are still going to have a small and intimate wedding on our original date of September 19th, 2020 but we have decided to do a one year vowel renewal/reception with all of our family and friends at a later date. Keep your eye out for a letter from us soon but with our original plans being 51 days away, I wanted to give everyone a heads up of the changes. Thank you all for being so understanding and all of your support means the world to us. We will not let Covid stop us and now we have to figure out plans for our intimate ceremony rather quickly. We look forward to celebrating with everyone next year. #covidbride #covidwontstopus
It was the middle of a scorching June in 2018, but that's not where this story really began. We met years before thru a mutual acquaintance. I knew quickly that I liked her, unfortunately we both were unavailable at the time. It kinda of went that way for a while. We would only see eachother every now and again, usually at the same bar watching the same band. It was maybe late summer or early fall of 2017 when were both single! It was suggested to me that we should date and I was given her number so I called to set something up. Over the next month or two we went on several dates mostly consisting of movies and putt-putt. I got the sense that she just wasn't that into me because there were several cancelations and reschedules. Eventually she just ghosted me all together. So disappointing. Now...middle of a scorching June in 2018, I get a Facebook message from Cat asking if I wanted to meet up. I was receptive but optimistically cautious, so we met at Starbucks and talked for a couple of hours. Then we started hanging out...a lot. I think we bonded over our mutual distain for the house hunting process. As the days passed our relationship began to grow in a way both of us didnt expect. Our official anniversary date is October 9th 2018, the first time I said she was my girlfriend. Christmas 2018 was the first time I said I love you. I bought the ring at the end of May, and I proposed on October 10th (that's a story for another day). It's crazy sometimes to look back on the days that we were just acquaintances and how life brought us together when the time was right. Now we will becoming one and getting married on September 19th, 2020. Cat and I hope you all can come and join us on that day to help celebrate with us. You all have had such an impact on our lives. We look forward to seeing you soon.
