Where is the event taking place?

Answer

This reception will be taking place at our home in Fort Collins. The address is 821 Vixen Drive, located in north-eastern Fort Collins, just off of I-25.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be relying on street parking, so feel free to park along Vixen Drive or any nearby residential street (like Huntsman or Fox Grove). There should be plenty of space, but we recommend leaving yourself a few extra minutes, just in case you need to walk a short distance.

Should I bring anything?

Answer

No gifts, please! If you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon fund instead, we’ve included a donation link on the registry page. Otherwise, just bring yourself and whatever will keep you comfortable! Weather permitting, most of the celebration will be outside. It should be a warm day, but once the sun sets it may cool off—if you’re planning to stay into the evening, we recommend bringing a light jacket. For the late-night movie, feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair to get cozy under the stars.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Think picnic-chic and weather-aware! This is a casual backyard celebration, so not overly formal. The bride won't be wearing a wedding dress (more of a cocktail dress or sundress instead), and the groom is planning on a suit with no jacket. Light, comfortable clothing is perfect and we do recommend shoes that work well on grass (high heels might sink into the lawn). If you’re planning to stay into the evening, especially for the movie, bring a light jacket in case it gets chilly. A blanket or extra cozy layers wouldn’t hurt either!

Are there vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free food options?

Answer

We’ll have a few vegetarian-friendly items, like veggie sliders at dinner, but options will be limited. The lunchtime quiche is a mixed assortment from our caterer, so we can’t guarantee which ingredients will be included. Unfortunately, vegan and gluten-free choices will be minimal beyond basic sides. If you have specific dietary needs, feel free to bring something along—we want you to feel comfortable and well-fed!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Kids are welcome to join us during the afternoon for the open house. For the evening dinner and backyard reception, seating and space will be limited. We kindly ask that guests make other arrangements for their kids for this portion of the celebration, if possible.

How to RSVP

Answer

To let us know which parts of the day you’ll be joining, just follow these steps: Click the RSVP tab (or the link on the homepage). Enter your first and last name, then click “Continue.” Select your name from the list. You’ll be guided through a quick RSVP for each of the day’s events (Morning Brunch & Manicure Party, Afternoon Open House, Post-Dinner Movie). You can RSVP for one, some, or all of the events- whatever works for your schedule! If you run into any issues or your name doesn’t show up, feel free to reach out and we’ll help you out.
