They say you can find almost anything on the internet, but we never expected to find a soulmate in 280 characters. Our story began on Twitter when Ashton hit the "Follow" button but it was Catera who made the move and slid into the DMs. What started as witty replies and digital banter quickly turned into real-life chemistry that we couldn't ignore. We eventually took the conversation offline and into real life, and we haven’t stopped talking since. When we finally met in person, the connection felt effortless. Our first date at Walk-On’s near LSU was more than just a night out—it was the moment everything changed. Ashton knew then and there that Catera was the woman he wanted to spend his life with. It wasn’t just the laughter or the attraction, but the peace, certainty, and sense of purpose he felt being with her. As our relationship grew, so did our faith and commitment to one another. Life wasn’t always easy, especially during Catera’s demanding journey through pharmacy school, but those seasons only strengthened us. Through long days, busy schedules, and moments of exhaustion, we leaned on God and each other, learning the true meaning of patience, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Every challenge reminded us that love isn’t just about the joyful moments, but about choosing one another daily and trusting God through it all.
