We’re Getting Married!

I (Kristian) moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas for a new job. Catelyn was settled and ready to start Year 3 coaching the gymnastics team at the University of Arkansas. About two weeks into my move, I decided to jump on the dating app called Hinge (again). The stars aligned on this one night where Catelyn got the guts to join the online dating world. Where I had been for a LONG time! We matched and our first conversation was great except for by the end of it, she thought about “ghosting me”. I messaged her once again and she must have said “this man is wayyyy too handsome for me to ghost. I have to meet him!” So I asked her on a date and after a great night, I walked her to her car and received a… SIDE HUG! I wasnt going to let a little side hug discourage me so I messaged her again the next morning where I asked her on another date. She accepted and we went on a hike that afternoon. TWO DATES IN ONE WEEKEND!! I’m clearly irresistible 😉 Well she showed me her favorite hike and the date ended with… A full hug. I was making progress! The following Wednesday I went to her house for date #3 where we cooked tacos and drank some wine. We talked forever, laughed a lot, and we had our first kiss. And the rest is history… she moved to Missouri to become the Head Coach at Lindenwood University. I would eventually move two months later and now, we cannot wait to get married.
