Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Cate Duffy and Lyndon Brundige
From cozy cafes to seaside towns, here are a few of the places we love and hope you’ll enjoy while you’re here.

Dover, NH

Downtown Dover has plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants to explore. These are a few of our favorite spots! Just The Thing: A fun shop filled with trinkets and antiques. Don’t miss the record collection upstairs. Eight Legged Octopus: A community-focused shop showcasing local pottery, art, and handmade goods, with a small independent bookstore inside. Breakaway Café: A cozy spot for excellent coffee and quick bites, with a menu inspired by fine dining but served in a relaxed setting. Earth's Harvest Kitchen & Juicery: A scratch kitchen that sources local ingredients, known for fresh, honest food and standout breakfast and lunch. Garrison City Beerworks: A neighborhood brewery pouring New England IPAs and serving up tasty tacos. Thirsty Moose Taphouse: A local standby with more than 100 beers on tap and all the classic bar bites to go with them.

South Berwick, ME

This little downtown is full of charm, with cozy coffee shops and small local spots. Be sure to check hours before you go — it’s part of the small-town experience. Early Bird Café: A cozy local favorite for a classic breakfast. The Outlook Tavern: Located just steps from where we’ll be saying “I do” at the Red Barn, this tavern is the perfect place to warm up with hearty pub fare and a pint. The rolling hills of the golf course make for a beautiful backdrop year-round.

Southern Maine coast

Ogunquit: A scenic 30-minute drive brings you to Ogunquit’s iconic seaside path, Marginal Way, for a dramatic coastal walk, and the charming artsy village of Perkins Cove for galleries and fresh seafood. York: About 25 minutes away, York offers sweeping beaches, historic sites, and the photogenic Nubble Lighthouse. Kennebunkport: A little under a 45-minute drive brings you to a picturesque seaside village known for boutique shops, irresistible seafood, and historic charm—perfect for a cozy coastal outing.

Portsmouth, NH

Just a short drive from Dover and South Berwick, Portsmouth is a charming seaport city filled with boutique shopping, waterfront dining, and historic New England character.
