FAQs

If you have additional questions, you can reach out to the couple by emailing catchthesparrow2020@yahoo.com
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The official answer is Garden attire: This means you should “dress to impress,” but consider the environment when you select your outfit. The ceremony will be held outside, so take weather into consideration. The important thing is that everyone is comfortable and has a good time.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

August in Nebraska usually tends to be hot and muggy! The ceremony will be held outside, but in cases of extreme heat or rain, we are able to have the ceremony inside the barn as a back up.

Question

Where will the Ceremony and Reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Roca Berry Farm in the Pioneer Barn. 16531 S 38th St, Roca, NE 68430

Question

Will the Ceremony and Reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the Ceremony will be held outdoors, but in case of rain or extreme heat, it will be moved indoors. The reception will be held in the pioneer barn which is air conditioned.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving food and beverages.

Question

What should I do if I cant make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

-Begin your journey to by taking one of five streets (27th, 40th, 56th, 70th or 84th streets) that lead south out of Lincoln to Saltillo Road. -Head over to 54th Street and turn south. -Turn right onto Roca Road and follow it through town to the grain elevator and the Roca Tavern. -Turn left on A St. and head south a short distance. -At the “T” in the road, (the ballpark will be on your left) turn right and go over the railroad tracks. -Follow the gravel road for about ¾ of a mile. You will see the sign at the front driveway! Be careful entering the driveway as it intersects the Homestead Bike Trail.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive about 15 minutes before the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free. For those who have never been to Roca Berry Farm, once you get to the end of the drive, there's a huge parking lot to your left. You cant miss it :)

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
