The short story is that Josh and Catania met while both serving as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Resistencia, Argentina. But the long story includes a few more details and takes over a year longer. Josh was Catania's zone leader and they served in the same ward in Formosa, Argentina for 3 months (from February 2017- May 2017). They became friends as they bonded at ward parties and missionary meetings, and the whole zone hoped to stay in contact after the mission. Josh finished his mission and returned home in June 2017, and Catania finished her mission 6 months later. As they had anticipated on the mission, many mission friends became very close and spent a lot of time together in Provo, Utah (where both Josh and Catania were attending Brigham Young University). After many group camping trips, movie nights, and jacuzzi sessions, Josh decided he could not resist Catania's charm any longer. One late night in July 2018, after going longboarding with some friends (and Josh hanging back to teach Catania), Josh suggested they all go back to his place to watch a scary movie. The rest is history. He slyly scooted closer and closer throughout the night, as they watched movie after movie late into the night. Two days later Josh invited Catania (and their other two friends who were dating) to come over to watch more. This time there was no holding back. Right from the start he turned on the charm, and there was no chance for Catania. She quickly gave in to his devilishly good looks and sweet charisma. They shared their first kiss that night, July 22nd, 2018. Every single day since then (besides a couple incidences of family vacations or traveling school projects) Josh and Catania have spent every possible second with each other and are truly each other's best friends. They cannot wait to be sealed for time and all eternity and spend every day for the rest of forever with the love of their life.
