Theo and Cat met on the Plenty of Fish dating site. He viewed her profile, saw she had her doctorate, and opened with the clever line of, "What's up Doc? What did you get your PhD in?" Cat saw this message 2 days later and was instantly interested. She wrote back and the two conversed for two weeks via text and phone before meeting in person on July 3, 2017. Their first date consisted of dinner at Chuy's Mexican Restaurant, followed by Jeremiah's Ice Cream. They were both smitten from the first meeting, and had each other at 'merlot'!

While Cat was sitting in her pajamas on Theo's couch, at 10pm on Sunday night, the TV changed from the NBA playoffs to playing songs from Theo's iPhone. Theo called from upstairs, where he was supposed to be putting his pajamas on, and said he accidentally hit the wrong button on his phone. Within a few moments, "From This Moment" by Shania Twain came on, which is their song. Then Cat looked up to see Theo come down the stairs in his tuxedo. Cat was shocked and speechless. Theo then asked Cat to stand up. Theo then professed his undying love for Cat, got down on one knee, and asked for her hand in marriage. Cat enthusiastically said YES!!!!

For our honeymoon we will be going on a 4-night cruise to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral. We will be on the Carnival Liberty, and will visit Nassau and Princess Cays. We will be gong on a clear-bottom kayak adventure while in Nassau, and swimming with sting rays in Princess Cays.
