Best Man
Michael and David have known each other for David’s entire life. There are too many memories to highlight in this groomsman blurb that it would take a small novel to talk about the Oye in David’s life. The most memorable include building a jungle fort with a neighbor’s outdoor furniture, reenacting scenes from The Lion King in Fayetteville with the Price sisters, finally beating the TMNT game on the NES, playing freeze tag and Cops & Robbers with neighbors in Spartanburg, doing extreme tubing sessions at Lake Lure, skiing in the Rocky mountains and playing soccer together for decades. David has been a wonderful caring brother who continues to surprise and make his older brother happy to be related to this fine gentleman and is excited to celebrate this unforgettable day with his Best Man.
Best Man
Michael and Matthew have known each other for Matthew’s entire life. There were numerous days spent setting up Lego, Army Men and toy figures to battle each other all over the house, putting together large human size puzzles from their favorite movies, playing water basketball in the pool, snowboarding on family vacations, spending many summers together at Camp Wayfarer, enjoying video games such as GoldenEye & Super Smash Brothers and doing silly things like Sting Pong or shooting potatoes across the lake cove. Michael is very happy his brother married his wonderful wife Hannah and change careers from the Marines to cyber security. While Michael is not the only Oye in Matthew’s life, Michael is extremely excited to have his youngest brother join in the wedding celebration as his Best Man.
Groomsman
Michael and Dave started their friendship in a new living situation at the very large Cross Hill house in Columbia and continued to be roommates for over 5 years. The two Italians grew up together as young adults together which include memorable moments such as playing Call of Duty, watching reruns of Star Trek: Next Generations and floating down the river in which there was always a story to follow that made their lives anything but ordinary. While living together, they both enjoyed the many Columbia events like Gamecock football tailgating, Brew at the Zoo and especially the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration in 5 Points. Both gentlemen have very promising futures ahead of them and Michael will continue to look forward to how life can bring them back together for more exciting times.
Groomsman
Michael and Chip have become very good friends over the last couple of years after the fun friendship connection that Catherine has had with Kate and Chip. Michael was delighted to be invited to join in this friendship bond as young adult couple friends and continues to look forward to creating memories with the Fallaws in the upcoming years. These two fellows have been able to enjoy many fun outings to Firefly baseball games, bowling at The Grand on Main, playing handball with the F3 squad and throwing darts at Flying Saucers. Their friendship will be one of many reasons for Michael to return back to Columbia during his residency and especially for tailgate fun and games during the Gamecock football season.
Groomsman
Though these two fraternity pledge brothers met in Lambda Chi Alpha, Michael and Harrison’s adventures started when they lived together during the "famously hot" summer of their sophomore year at USC's University Oaks. After college, living together again at Pendleton, Cross Hill and Lowndes built up a lifelong friendship that included going to concerts and music festivals, hunting down exotic craft beer, attending the Rosewood Crawfish festival, analyzing new shows like True Detective, Westworld and Rick & Morty, watching countless of movies and playing an absurd amount of video games that are too extensive to list in this groomsmen blurb. Michael is looking forward to learning more about Harrison’s future career prospects with an ideal career that is suited for this talented groomsman.

Michael is very lucky to have a longtime life best friend in his life like Mazi ever since living in South Carolina. After living in the same neighborhood while attending school and playing club soccer, they reunited in Columbia after college for an opportunity to become roommates and form a new bond that flourished into a true brotherhood. Between the countless new restaurants, limitless parties and unforgettable moments hosting at the Beltline house, these two brothers had a great time together. Michael is especially thankful for the once-in-a lifetime trip to Mazi's cousin’s wedding in India that solidified their connection beyond just simply being “good” friends. Michael looks forwards to Mazi’s continued journey practicing medicine in his new fellowship.

Michael is very excited to gain a new brother into his life soon. Since first meeting Wick at the infamous Longhorn Steakhouse in the Vista, Michael has tried doing better to properly order steaks ever since. Michael has enjoyed many family outings with Wick and would like to highlight some moments of playing games like beach bocce or late-night Mario Kart shenanigans as fun ways to grow together as friends and soon to be family. Wick has been a true asset in helping with multiple moves to different places in South Carolina and has many more skill sets in golfing and flying planes that Michael looks forward to experiencing as he spends more time with his future brother-in-law.

Michael is very excited to gain a new brother into his life soon. Michael had heard many positive stories about his fiancée’s youngest brother but didn’t get to meet him for a few months due to his summer internship in Louisiana. There have been plenty of times since John has returned to South Carolina that have been packed with fun moments such as hanging out at Columbia Craft, cruising on the One Wheel, playing Mario Party and Ocarina of Time. Michael has enjoyed the family trips to the beach and numerous dinners and will look forward making new memories to visit his future brother-in-law in Seattle at his new job with Amazon.
