We recommend looking for AirBNB and VRBO rentals in Peñasco, Dixon, Chamisal, & Embudo. There are also hotels and rentals in Taos, but are ~45mins away. Folks who are interested in camping are welcome to pitch their tent on our land as there is ample space. There are also campgrounds nearby ~10mins up the road — Santa Barbara Campground & Hodges Campground. Please reach out with any questions to ensure you have a good place to stay while visiting! Take 518 South. Drive about 30mins and after the big steep drop, take a right onto 75. Drive another 15 mins and after the ranger station and El Centro Health Clinic, take a right turn on 73. Take this road a couple minutes and then a left at the sign for “Santa Barbara CG, Hodges CG.” Follow that road past the ramps on your left. After ramp #4 you’ll take a right on Camino de Abajo. Follow this road; it will eventually curve to the right. Continue past a few more driveways. Our driveway is to the right and is very steep. You’ll see our tipi.

Drive to Española. Once in Española make a right at Pizza Emergency on to 76. Take this about 45mins. You’ll pass through Chimayo and Truchas. Eventually you’ll come to a “T” where there’s a sign for Subway. Take that right onto 75. Drive 10mins. Pass through the small town of Peñasco and 75 will curve to the left but stay straight and take 73. After a couple minutes take a left at the sign for Santa Barbara CG, Hodges CG. Follow that road past the ramps on your left. After ramp #4 you’ll take a right on Camino de Abajo. Follow this road; it will eventually curve to the right. Continue past a few more driveways. Our driveway is to the right and is very steep. You’ll see our tipi.

Pass though Española driving North on 68. After about 20mins you’ll see Vivac Winery and signs for Dixon, Peñasco, and Vadito. Take that right. Now you’re on 75. Take that for about 25mins. Pass the gas station with a Subway. Pass through the small town of Peñasco. 75 will curve to the left but stay straight and take 73. After a couple minutes take a left at the sign for Santa Barbara CG, Hodges CG. Follow that road past the ramps on your left. After ramp #4 you’ll take a right on Camino de Abajo. Follow this road; it will eventually curve to the right. Continue past a few more driveways. Our driveway is to the right and is very steep. You’ll see our tipi.
