FAQs

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a welcome party on Friday that all guests are invited to and encouraged to attend! Kids are welcome to join this event.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe has reduced the price of parking for all guests of the wedding so there will be ample parking available.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please reference our Travel section for full details. We do recommend booking as soon as possible due to limited availability in Tahoe in the summer.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus 1's will be indicated on the save-the-dates and invitations. Please reach out with any questions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate kids for Saturday’s events, and we hope that all of the parents out there can enjoy a kid-free evening! Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Our event is black-tie, meaning we encourage guests to wear tuxes and long gowns. Patterns and bright colors are welcomed!

Question

Tahoe Tips

Answer

1. BE BEAR AWARE: Don't leave any food or snacks in your rental car, including gum wrappers, dog food, or an empty coffee cup. Our neighborhood bears know how to open car doors. Lock your car door; this is usually the best defense unless there's something so juicy inside; if they can't open the car door with minimum effort, they'll move on to an easier target. Use the bear boxes at your rental home or around town. Don't leave excess trash bags outside for easy access. 2. DRINK TAHOE TAP: Before you buy bottled water, try the tap water first, it's delicious. Pack your reusable water bottle and fill up! As John Muir described "... sparkling Sierra water fresh from the heavens. Drinking this champagne water is pure pleasure..." 3. STAY HYDRATED: Speaking of water, drink lots of it! We are at 6,200'. We are high and dry here. Stay ahead of your hangover and altitude sickness by hydrating often.
