Please join us for some casual drinks, music, and lawn games at our local outdoor beer and wine garden. We suggest grabbing dinner before, as there is a very limited menu available. We do recommend Uber/Lift to get to this event! However... If you prefer driving yourself to the Anchor, you can most likely find free street parking just outside of the Navy Yard in Charlestown. (Map to Brewer's Fork and then it is a short walk back to the Navy Yard) There is also Flagship Wharf garage. It is a 2 min walk to the Anchor and you can park anytime after 6pm for $17. There are 2 hour meters in the Navy Yard that expire at 8pm, so if you find one, you are in luck for the night! There is also a 10 min ferry that runs direct from Long Wharf to Charlestown. It will leave at 6:30pm and 7pm sharp. They sell tickets on board ($3.70) and the boat docks right in front of the Anchor! **You would just have to get an Uber, etc. home as the ferry will make it's last shuttle at 8pm.**

3.1mi run/bike route: https://onthegomap.com/s/ci2tb79b 1.5mi walking route: https://onthegomap.com/s/hh7l06r1 We will meet for a jog along the Charles River and loop back to our starting place for bike drop off and "brunch." **We will be stocking a pop-up cafe out of the back of our car! We will have all the fixings for iced coffee, iced tea, and light bites ready for post-run.** We will also be very close to several coffee shops if you want to get your own hot coffee/tea/etc. For anyone that would prefer to bike the route, there are Blue Bike docks right at our start/end point. The cost will be approx $3.50, but you might want to download the BlueBikes app ahead of time to save your information. Transportation: Uber/Lyft might be the easiest options., but the Park St, Boylston St, and Arlington T stops are all within walking distance. There is also a parking garage under the Common and various metered spots around the Common/Garden perimeter.
The Main Celebration

Please join us for a cocktail reception at Shore Leave restaurant in Boston. There will be passed appetizers followed by some light bites (sushi, sliders, etc) and drinks, but we will not be doing a traditional sit-down dinner. For some ideas for a late lunch, check out the Places to Eat & Things to Do tab. We will keep updating this as the event approaches! Please arrive around 5:00pm, the bar will be open and we have some special things planned for 5:30 sharp! What to wear: Cocktail attire (Dresses of any length, jumpsuits or nice shirt and pants - jackets are optional, ties are not necessary) If you are planning to join us for the second half of the evening for dancing, please wear something you will be comfortable dancing in! In our experience, there is very limited parking in this area, so Uber/Lyft are probably your best bets for transportation.
The Dance Party

For anyone that would like to keep the party going, we have reserved a private space for us to go out after Shore Leave. We will be in the Boom Boom Room (downstairs level at Wild Rover). As an ode to our early days in Boston, ending the night in Faneuil Hall just seems right. Wild Rover is a 10 min drive or 30 min walk from Shore Leave!
