What accommodations are available for those who are coming from out of town?

TL;DR: We opted not to do a hotel block since everyone has their own budget & you will probably get a better deal booking through a portal like Expedia. What's the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

Ovation is located in a neighborhood with an abundance of free street parking but we also have a dedicated 20 car lot, complete with electric car charging station, on the east side of the building.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes - Ovation also has a section of the bar designed for guests in wheelchairs. Everything is on the ground floor, as well.

Any recommendations for things to do/eat if it's my first time visiting Chicago?

Answer

This is our FAVORITE question. - Architecture Tour - a boat tour along the Chicago River where you get to learn cool historical facts about Chicago and some of the city's most iconic buildings - Chicago Riverwalk - free and has great views - Lincoln Park - there is also a free conservatory and zoo connected to it, as well as beautiful walkways with a terrific view of the city - Second City - Chicago has one of the best comedy scenes in the nation! Second City has a variety of improv and other comedy shows Food/Drink: - Chicago Athletic Association Hotel - great view of downtown from Cindy's, the rooftop bar. The second floor also has a cozy lounge and the Game Room has billiards, skeeball, shuffleboard, and other fun activities - Pequod's - our top rec for deep dish! - The Loyalist - one of Andrew's favorite burgers in the city and all around great food. - Roister - you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu there!
