Solo and I recommend staying in the Honolulu area or Waikiki. Even though our wedding will be in Kailua on the east side of the island, it will only be for one night and we would much rather you closer to more things to do! Please check the Travel Tab of our website for different hotels and the Things to Do Tab for different activities. We recommend renting a car to get around the island!
Hawai‘i is warm and sunny year-round, but evenings can be breezy. We recommend light layers and sunscreen. We will have fans and bottles of water provided for our guests during the ceremony.
We want you to be comfortable while you celebrate our day with us. For men, we suggest dress pants with an aloha shirt or a loose button down- no need for ties or a sports jacket! For women, we suggest maxi, midi length, or tea-length dresses or dressy jumpsuits. The ceremony will take place on grass, so please keep this in mind when picking out shoes.
Yes! There is a large parking lot at Royal Hawaiian Golf Club that will be able to accommodate all of our guests. We do suggest taking an Uber or Lyft is plan on drinking and are from out of town- the roads on this side of the island can be tricky and we want you to be safe!
As much as we would love for you to bring your special person to our special day, we will be unable to accommodate. If your name is explicitly on the invitation, then we have a seat saved for you! This includes children as well- if the invitation says "and family" then all are welcome, if not, we saved a seat for just mom and dad. We want you to make this a fun date night without having to worry about the kiddos! Thank you all for understanding.
Please arrive 30 minutes early to Royal Hawaiian Golf Club. Our ceremony starts at 4 and we would love to see guests coming in at 3:30.
Yes! There will be a cocktail hour, cava ceremony, and a full reception following the ceremony complete with a bar and a buffet.
Yes! Please check our Registry Tab for our wedding registry. We have gifts ranging from household essentials to different funds so you can contribute what you like.
