On a low budget film set, put together on a whim and a prayer, Cat was the Make up Artist assistant and Rony the 1st Assistant Director. Film has never seen a bigger shitshow, shooting in remote locations in extreme weather... you see, shitshows definitely bring crews closer together. So much so, that 6 months after #CatandRony were on a hunt for their first home.

It all began that freezing morning in Toronto, -22 °C temperature broke a 57-year-old record; the coldest day Toronto had seen in a while.  Despite extreme weather conditions, the idea to visit Niagara Falls continued as planned. Upon arrival, the weather had acted in our favor: Niagara Falls was dressed in white from head to toe, magical & simply breathtaking (literally hard for some of us to breathe, SO COLD). Rony chose this day to share with Cat one of the truest places in his heart. It was all about coming full circle, in bringing the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, to the very spot where his life began. Now it would be the place where two, would decide to become one.  On that cold winter night, Rony took Cat for a stroll, in the very place where years before, he surely had given his first steps and waddles (the family was hiding out nearby unbeknownst to Cat). Rony got on one knee, and a high-pitched scream came from the bride-to-be.  Just like that, in between tears, hugs, and kisses, the coldest day in Toronto, became one of the warmest moments in our hearts. This is where the story begins…
