We met on Hinge, and things escalated pretty quickly from there. The very same day we matched, Jay showed up with Chick-fil-A, and we ended up sitting in the car eating and talking for hours. Apparently, that’s our version of a first date. From that day on, we talked every single day, and about a month later Jay officially asked me to be his girlfriend (very formal… it was not LOL). Then St. Patrick’s Day rolled around and, instead of celebrating with green drinks, we celebrated with a trip to the ER—definitely not part of the original plan. But with Jay’s strength, a lot of love, and a little bit or A LOT of dark humor, we made it through together. Now we’re getting married, and we can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with all of you!
