Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by August 25th using the stamped and addressed RSVP card included with your formal invitation. If we haven’t heard from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend.

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, so please dress and plan accordingly. If weather conditions require a change, we will provide updated information about an indoor location.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, this celebration is an adults-only affair. We hope you'll take this opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved night out!

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please, no jeans.

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

Our bridal party will be dressed in deep purple and blush pink, so we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing these colors to allow our bridal party to stand out. We also ask that you refrain from wearing white, ivory, cream, or similar shades.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 4pm. This will allow time for you to park and find your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour begins.

Is there parking for the ceremony and/or the reception?

Answer

Parking is available for both the ceremony and reception. Buck Memorial Library and the Young Main Lounge are practically next to each other, but do have different street addresses. Guests are welcome to park in the Evelyn Chapel parking lot, the address is 1301 N Park St. Guests are also welcome to park behind the Evelyn Chapel on the other side of the Quad.

Seating at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, guests are welcome to sit wherever they like, except for the first two rows on either side of the aisle, which will be reserved. At the reception, seating will be assigned. Please make sure to RSVP by August 25th so we can include you (and your invited guests) in the seating arrangements.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We ask that you bless us with your presence. Should you wish to contribute in some other way, we kindly request monetary gifts. There is a 'Registry' on this website for monetary gifts.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer
