We first met at an ultimate frisbee Hat Tournament in Lincoln, Nebraska. We had an absolute blast playing together. Each of us left the field with first impressions of our future partners as good teammates. For the next two years, our paths crossed at other tournaments and community events. One of our favorite memories took place at Tiger Tom's after ultimate; Cat complimented Aaron's fresh haircut and offered him a ripe peach that had just come into her possession. Aaron thought she was hitting on him, but Cat will deny it to this day. The sparks flew not too long after at a 4th of July party in 2018. We had our first date less than a week later and never looked back!
