Our first date was at Pasta Sisters in Midcity, Los Angeles, where we then decided to keep the date rolling and went to a museum (if you know, you know). I guess Cesar couldn't get enough of me, because he asked me if I wanted to go to Griffith Observatory next (if you think this is long so far, just wait). The sun was going to set soon, and somehow we ended up on Santa Monica Pier watching the Sunset. Just as I thought the night would end, Cesar asked, "Are you hungry?". I mentioned Bubba Gumps Restaurant and Cesar said he had never gone, so obviously we had to go. Our first date ended up being over 10 hours long and we haven't left each others side since!
We traveled to Maui, Hawaii in August 2025 for our 2 year anniversary. Halfway through the trip, Cesar told me that he wanted to take me to a beach to see sharks and sea turtles (Cesar lied). The morning of the 27th, Cesar woke me up at the crack of dawn and we drove 1 hour down to Palauea beach in South Maui. We arrived right at 7 am. The small beach was empty and we walked down to the side by the rocks and set up our video to "film a TikTok" (once again, he lied). We walked into frame and eventually walked out and all I heard was Cesar say "f*ck it". I was confused, were we about to jump in the water? Next thing I know Cesar is down on one knee, with ring in hand, giving me a beautiful speech I'll never forget. A photographer emerged from the trees, and captured the very moment I jump up with excitement and say the easiest yes ever!
Cesar said it a little after midnight, right after they rang in the new year on our trip in Santa Barbara.
To Cesar: I love how you find joy in everything you do, and make the most of every situation. You have taught me to enjoy life, and continue to do the things I love. You're the life of the party, and good friend to many. Thank you for sharing your life with me <3 To Casy: I love that you will do anything to put a smile on my face, even when you're not feeling the best. You always put me first and I can never thank you enough for that. I can't wait to make many more memories together.
