Accomodations
Our wedding will be held a quick 20 minute drive from downtown Lisbon. If you would like to experience all Lisbon has to offer we recommend staying in an Airbnb or hotel in the following neighborhoods.
Baixa/Chiado - Old Lisbon, shopping, restaurants, cafes, flat streets. Served by the blue and green metro lines, a myriad of buses and tram #28, its about as convenient a location as they come.
Rossio - Flat area, walk to landmarks on foot without public transport. You can take Elevador de San Justa to go to Bairro Alto.
Alfama - Traditional, known for Fado Music, narrow cobbled streets and tightly packed houses, but sits on top of a hill, so a lot of incline walking necessary.
Bairro Alto - Located uphill, known for its night life and festive spirit but note that there is no metro access. Lots of steep steps and inclines.
Avenida de Liberdade - Shopping and five star hotels.
