It all happened on a beautiful snowy day in Lake Placid, NY. The town was a winter wonderland and the light snowfall felt as if they were in a snow globe. Bundled up with their hot chocolate in hand, Rachel and Joe went for a walk around town and down Mirror Lake (frozen at the time). After taking in the breathtaking views, Joe then asked a bystander to take their picture. That's when Joe got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him! To which of course Rachel responded YES! Rachel and Joe finished off their evening with a delicious Italian meal at Jimmy's 21 and more hot chocolate by the fireplace in their hotel.
