Guests are welcome to book these directly if they’d like assistance getting to their hotel. We’ve coordinated two room blocks in Antigua for our guests: Camino Real Antigua Guatemala Located in the heart of Antigua, a 6-minute walk to our Welcome Party. El Carmen Hotel & Restaurante Also located in Antigua, within walking distance to many restaurants, and a 7-minute walk to our Welcome Party. We recommend booking ASAP to take advantage of the room blocks and guarantee availability as April is high season in Antigua. Yes! If you prefer, you’re welcome to stay in an Airbnb. Please make sure it’s within Antigua and close to Camino Real Antigua so you can easily catch the wedding-day transportation to Finca San Cayetano.
Yes! We will be offering round-trip transportation from Camino Real Antigua Guatemala to Finca San Cayetano on the day of the wedding. Shuttles will depart from the hotel at scheduled times and return after the reception. Guests staying at El Carmen Hotel or other hotels in Antigua can easily walk to Camino Real to catch the shuttle. We’ll share exact shuttle times closer to the wedding date.
Wedding festivities officially begin on Thursday, April 16, in the evening. We recommend arriving a day early to settle in, adjust, and enjoy exploring beautiful Antigua before the celebrations begin.
The local currency is the Guatemalan Quetzal (GTQ). Credit cards are accepted at most restaurants and hotels, but we recommend carrying some cash for smaller shops and tips. US dollars are also widely accepted in Antigua.
We kindly ask that you note this will be an adult-only event. While we love your little ones, we want everyone to fully enjoy the evening in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. We appreciate your understanding.
April in Antigua is warm and mostly dry. Daytime highs in the mid-70s/low 80s and cooler evenings in the low 60s. Light layers and comfortable shoes are recommended for our outdoor celebration.
The welcome party in Antigua is cocktail attire. Reminder: Antigua has cobblestone streets, so we recommend comfortable shoes you can walk in. Light layers are recommended for nighttime events.
