When I first moved to North Carolina, I decided to get a temporary part-time job waitressing. After two weeks on the job, Daniel and I got our first shift together. We did not hit it off, he thought I was weird and I thought he was loud. We were both right. Lol. We learned that we were both single parents to daughters who needed friends. So we set them up on play dates in which they immediately hit it off. We started getting to know each other on the play dates, soon enough we realized “hey she/he ain’t so weird/loud after all”. lol and well. . . six years and a daughter later here we are.
