What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail/ black tie optional. Think mid to long dresses for ladies and suits for guys. Bring a jacket as it will get chilly at night. Wear comfortable shoes or bring another pair for walking down the natural stone steps to the ceremony. High heels are not recommended.

What can I expect for the venue?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Ashley's grandparents house and property. The ceremony will be outside in the beautiful natural North Carolina mountain landscape, and dinner/ reception will be at the house on a covered porch.

Should I come hungry?

Answer

There will not be any appetizers at cocktail hour, as dinner will be served right after at 5:30pm. There will be snacks at the house for anyone getting ready during the day between breakfast and the ceremony.
