Shawn and Erica were introduced to each other by Shawn’s sister-in-law, Jackie. Jackie was friends with Erica through their life group at Fremont Church. Shawn had informed Jackie that he would be moving to Roseville in may 2022 to take on a new job in a biotech company that was remote at the time. Jackie asked if Shawn would like to meet anyone local. Shawn said yes, and within a day or so Jackie had shared with him all about Erica. Shawn and Erica first talked during Mother’s Day weekend when Erica was driving home to Petaluma. It wasn’t until august however that they finally had their first date at a Thai restaurant just a few blocks from Erica’s house. Over the past year, the two have shared their journey in life through faith, travel, time spent together and with their pups. They are both thankful that God has guided them to each other during this time and are excited for the future He is shaping for the two of them as husband and wife.
