Welcome to the casto wedding

We met in 2010 at Uwchlan Ambulance. Brandon had been an explorer and member there for about a year or 2 prior and Alisa had joined their summer camp and explorers post that year. Summer of 2019 we began talking more frequently and after spending time with each other, we knew what we wanted for our future.

We had been planning an 11-day trip to Ireland and England for the beginning of July. While planning this trip, everyone in Alisa's life began to joke around about the trip being a proposal trip. In the meantime, we had been binge-watching a tv show, The Rookie, and season 2, episode 16 had just started. Very conveniently, Alisa had fallen asleep during the episode. In the episode, the main characters, Wesley and Lopez, were about to go on a 5-day vacation, and just like in Alisa's life, Lopez had speculations that Wesley may propose. To not ruin the trip and have Lopez wondering which day and moment Wesley was going to propose, Wesley decided to propose right before they left, making the trip an engagement celebration trip rather than a proposal trip. So, while Alisa kept on sleeping, Brandon had just thought of the perfect proposal idea. Every year his family does a 4th of July BBQ and because we were going to be away for the 4th of July, we decided to host an early BBQ on June 30th with family and friends, the day before we left for Ireland. As everyone gathered around on the deck, Brandon took Alisa down to the backyard to "play cornhole", and that's when it happened. Without hesitation, Alisa said yes.

In the future, we hope to move somewhere with a big open field and build our own little homestead. We hope to travel the world together and make endless memories everywhere we go. We hope to build a family full of love and laughter, just like our parents built ours.
