Our love story did not begin the first time we met. After all we were just kids. Our love story began the summer of 2013. Lexi was living in San Marcos and Chris in North Austin. Our friendship had developed into something more and we knew it was special. Hands down, the six years following that summer have been the best years of our lives. Filled with lots of laughter, positive energy, and so much love, we can only imagine taking on this adventure with each other. Whether it is travelling to our favorite places or just hanging out on our couch watching movies, we always have fun spending time with each other. Some of our favorite things to do: Watch true crime and mystery shows, attend concerts of our favorite artists over and over, hosting get-togethers, Texas road trips (with mandatory stops at Buc-ees), making small improvements to our house, and hanging out at local breweries.

One of our favorite accomplishments is the purchase our first home. As our home was being built, we realized the builders never locked the door. We enjoyed sneaking in to see the progress. We would sit on the floor, drink wine, and talk about where our furniture would go and how we couldn’t wait to move in. Full of excitement, we even loaded the U-Haul the night before our move-in day. With a place to call our own, we continue to make more memories and Lexi continues to be obsessed with buying more pillows.

Our most special moment together was our engagement. Chris had purchased the ring a few months prior and secretly kept it from Lexi. It was a Sunday night and we had just got back from out of town. We purchased new Christmas ornaments that day and wanted to put up our Christmas tree. As part of our tradition, we turned on Home Alone and brought out the tree. As the tree was almost complete, Chris on one knee, asked Lexi to spend the rest of her life with him. She said “YES!” and we were engaged! We are looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can't wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people!
