Flight
Flying into Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" is a great option and an opportunity to see the beautiful capital. Flights leaving the US will arrive in Athens the NEXT day. The other option is to fly into Preveza International Airport (PVK) "Aktion Airport." Flights through London via British Airways fly into Preveza on Saturdays and fly out on Sundays. PVK is only 25 minutes from Lefkada.
Rental Car
Rental cars are the best way to explore more of the island and beaches of Lefkada. If you plan on driving to the island, be sure to have Euros or a debit card for tolls along the way. The drive to the island is 3-4 hours.
Travel Note
Bus travel is also an option for getting to the island. From Athens Airport the X93 bus takes you directly from the terminal to the Kifisou bus station. Cabs are also an option. Once at Kifisou bus station, head to Lefkada (LEFKAS) bus terminal. Bus tickets can be bought on the website below.
House Or Rental
Villas are a great option for larger groups. Neighborhoods we suggest looking in include Lefkada, Agios Ioannis, Katouna, Lygia, Episkopos, Apolpaina and Nikiana. These are all walking distance or close drives to both the venue and the main town.
