How did we meet? Katie says it was freshman year in Math class, but Darren is persistent that it was English class. Either way, it was freshman year...first ever conversation between the two was Darren complementing Katie's shoes. We became best friends, we went shopping for pillow pets, out to eat and to church with Darren's grandparents, school basketball games. We were inseparable. After about a year of just being best friends we decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend. That only lasted three weeks, Darren felt like it was weird, and we went our separate ways. Love will always find a way...seven years later, we rekindled, and the rest is history.
