How We Met

July 2018

Dillion & Anna had been going to church together for a little bit, and Dillions sister, Brittney had recently become the Children's Director at that church. Dillion and Anna's brother, Nathan had been friends in high school and had gotten close. Nathan invited Dillion to go to the beach with him on their family vacation, and Anna had also brought her friend, Gracie on that same family vacation. Time passed that week, and Dillion & Anna really got to know one another that week. The following week, they went on a date together. The next week, they went on a church camp trip together. After they got back from the church camp trip, they went on a couple more dates, and on the second one, Dillion asked Anna to be his girlfriend. And, well...the rest is history!

The Proposal

June 29, 2025

Dillion & Anna had went to the grocery store and gas station for a quick trip. Nothing out of the ordinary was happening, so Anna had absolutely ZERO clue anything was about to happen. As Dillion had walked out of his house, he had grabbed the ring box and put it in his pocket. He then proceeded to send Anna back inside to grab his hat, so that he could hide the ring in the side of the truck door. They went on about their trip, and then eventually arrived back to Dillions house after riding around and just talking about life. Anna had gotten out of the truck and was putting a grocery bag into her car, as Dillion was getting something out of his truck. Dillion said to Anna "Babe", and said "What?" as she was turning around, and Dillion was down on one knee, asking Anna to marry him.

A Christ Centered Relationship

Ever since Dillion & Anna have met, they have been the best of friends. They may argue, bicker, and fight (just ask their family and friends) , but at the end of the day, they both know that the love they have for one another is more important than any argument. They have kept God as the centerpiece of their relationship, and that has been the glue to holding them together. No relationship will flourish and remain strong without Christ.
