It all began one night at a Zac Brown Band concert... I went with my friend Kris for a night out to see the first concert held at Coors Field. Our seats were next to Dale's, who was there with his best friend Zach. Kris told me that I should talk to them, but being shy I kept quiet. Luckily for me, Kris started a conversation with them and thus the friendships began.

For my birthday I asked Dale if we could go to an Avalanche game, but what came next was beyond all expectations. Dale took it upon himself, with the help of family and friends, to plan a night that I would never forget. As we got to the game I was surprised to find out that he had gotten us a suite for the game and that our friends and family were joining us. After the first period, Dale took be my the hands and told me how much he loved me and got down on one knee to propose. I instantly began shaking my head and exclaimed, "Yes!"
