Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Our ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outside. Our reception will be in a heated tent.

What is the attire/dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire is preferred. Our venue is in the mountains, so it's not a strict dress code. If mountain chic is the vibe you are leaning towards, go for it. Please just don't show up in your birthday suit.

What shoes should I wear?
Answer
For those who love to wear heels: many of our events will be held outside on grass, turf, and gravel. Therefore, we recommend avoiding stilettos. We encourage you to wear more comfortable shoes like chunky heels, wedges, flats, or nice sandals. We would also not recommend walking around with bare feet. If you do, please paint your toenails.

If I am staying at Chalet View Lodge, when can I check into my room?
Answer
Check-in time is at 4:00pm on the day of your reservation(s). If you are checking in on the day of the wedding, you will have an opportunity to do so during cocktail hour. Early check-in may be possible, but is not guaranteed. Check-out is at 11:00am

What is the CVL Cancelation Policy?
Answer
Upon booking your hotel room, Chalet View Lodge will require a deposit of one night plus taxes and fees. If you are staying for multiple nights, they will charge the balance for the remaining night(s) upon check-out. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please do so at least 72 hours before you are scheduled to check-in, and the lodge will issue a 100% refund of your deposit. If you cancel within the 72 hour window, unfortunately you forfeit your deposit.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Graeagle weather typically ranges from 40s-50s in temperature during the day, and can drop to 30s at night during early November. As this location is in Northern California and in the mountains, there is also a potential for snow, though it is not typical. Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and prepare accordingly.
