We’re getting married!

It was Valentine’s Day & Tim had planned a surprise picnic at our favorite nature preserve. I was 8 months pregnant mind you & we set up our lunch, ate some dessert & than afterwards Tim took jace on a reptile hunting adventure leaving me to wonder what kind of critter they were going to come running back to me with… Little did I know, Tim had an entirely different surprise in store. As Jace wandered back to me, he held out his little hand revealing the most unique & beautiful ring (made my Tim’s mom) I’d ever seen. My confusion was palpable - did Jace find this in that little hole they were just digging at? Before I could process what was even happening, Tim dropped to one knee & asked me to marry him chuckling because the look on my face was undeniably perplexed. I then said yes & it was and will always be one of the most unforgettable Valentine’s Day of my life.
